For my final soundscape project, I explored the vibrant environment of a busy restaurant kitchen to capture its daily rhythm and liveliness through sound. The project unfolds like a story, reflecting a typical day in the kitchen. It begins with a calm atmosphere, resembling the quiet morning as ingredients are gathered and the kitchen slowly wakes up. At this point, the soundscape transforms into a mix of clinking pots, sizzling pans, and urgent calls as orders are swiftly prepared and served. I wish my background talk made it in, and I wish the sounds where more unique they all sounded similar which I was disappointed with. The variety of sounds reaches a climax, offering a lively experience that plunges the listener into the bustling yet coordinated world of a bustling kitchen during its busiest hours. By selecting specific sounds and paying close attention to details, I aimed to convey not only the noise but also the vibrant energy and teamwork that characterize the core of a restaurant kitchen. Each sound - whether a clang, chop, or shout - contributes to the symphony of culinary artistry, illustrating a dynamic space where disorder and innovation blend to create culinary wonders. The audio part was dificult but when I figured out the basics it made it simple to ccomplete my task at hand , but could have defeintly dove deeper and found more effects for my sounds.
